Who can apply?
Any business trading in fashion, accessories and textiles, including fashion labels, retailers, wholesalers, and distributors.
What will judges look out for?
This award is designed to recognize companies which have taken an innovative approach to their business model and have enshrined principles of social and environmental sustainability as a core part of the way they do business.
Judges will be looking for businesses which have implemented new ways of working into their sourcing, trading and sales practices; with relevance to at least one of the key sustainability criteria set out above.
Judges will reward innovation and creativity around the buying and selling of fashion, as a means to improve lives and minimize environmental impact.
This could include anything from profit sharing down the product supply chain, to the integration of sustainability as a fundamental element of business planning, to new types of business model designed to address market needs and take account of sustainability issues or other innovative ways which businesses have built in a commitment to sustainability into their core structure.
