Allanna founded Squared Cycle, a pioneering distributor of fairly traded, designer womenswear, and was formerly Head of Clothing and Accessories at the Natural Collection, a leading online retailer of sustainable products. Having worked as both a distributor and a buyer of ethical fashion, Allanna has an intimate knowledge of the ethical fashion arena and regularly consults for a broad spectrum of businesses in the fashion and textiles sector with a view to sustainable sourcing and buying.

Allanna has worked closely with organic cotton farmer’s co-operatives and  World Bank textile initiatives in India as well as a series of capacity building and training projects in the fashion sector in South Africa, on behalf of the EFF. She specialises in sustainable international sourcing and supply for fashion, as well as playing a research and training role with the EFF.

Allanna has a Masters Degree in Historical and International Studies and prior to specialising in sustainable fashion, worked as a researcher and university lecturer at De Montfort University, teaching media studies and advertising.
