Starting her fashion career at Topshop, Jane Shepherdson rapidly rose through the ranks to become Brand Director.

She has been widely credited with turning around the fortunes of the high street chain.

In 2006 she worked with Fairtrade label People Tree in 2006 to give them their first high street concession at TopShop in the UK.

Jane left her post after 18 years in 2007 and is now the new CEO at Whistles.

She’s currently sitting on the People Tree board and is also a pro bono consultant for Oxfam in developing their retail clothing for the fashion market.
