Gavin already had extensive experience within the media industry and PR and marketing before he made his highly successful move into the fashion world as head of agency Independent Models(formerly ICM Models).

He has worked with leading clients including Helena Christensen, Erin O’Connor and Elizabeth Jagger. But his desire to make them successful lies in his willingness to adopt a more long-term approach, which is in stark contrast to what he terms as the ‘do-it-now” nature of the fashion industry.

Gavin is more interested in establishing his clients as a brand and creating more commercial opportunities for them. This ethos has helped establish Helena Christensen as a recognisable photographer, while her popularity as a model has not waned.
