Before joining the Design Council in 2005, Antonia worked as a journalist and editor for the design and business press. She spent three years as editor of design magazine FX, and during that time chaired the judging of the prestigious FX International Interior Design Awards. Prior to that, Antonia was launch editor of New Design, the internationally acclaimed magazine for industrial and product designers. In an eight year journalism career she had contributed to the Financial Times, Blueprint, and Engineering magazine, among other publications, and has sat on the judging panels of a number of national and international design awards.  Antonia is also a regular speaker at design industry events and conferences, and a commentator on sustainable design on the radio and in print.
